Premier League has been postponed until May (Part 2)

Like the UEFA meeting on 17/3, the meeting of the Premier League is mainly oriented, instead of giving a specific plan because of waiting for the development of Covid-19. However, the opinion of the majority of teams is to expect the season to complete all 38 rounds.

The fact that all sides committed to make the Premier League take all 38 rounds is considered a victory for football in the foggy country. As can be seen, the happiest teams are Liverpool, Leeds Utd and West Brom. Anfield owner is almost certain to be thirsty for the title of England champion lasting 30 years, while the two First Division teams have the opportunity to return to the Premier League.

The positive points

There are many positive points, but the prolongation of the tournaments causes many clubs to be seriously affected on the schedule. The two Manchester teams will have to reschedule the most because they are in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup and have many chances to go far in the two European cups.

Two days after the Euro final was postponed to the summer of 2021, the FA, the Premier League Organizing Committee, the First Division, representatives of the clubs and the PFA met to finish the season in June, in line with UEFA. The purpose of the meeting is to find the least costly option for the parties.

Arsenal boss was positive for Covid-19

Earlier, on March 13, the day after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was positive for Covid-19, the Premier League organizers postponed a round and stopped the tournament until early April. According to The Times, tournaments in the UK are likely to be delayed until the end of April because the government has not controlled Covid-19.

In the UK, the number of patients with Covid-19 is still on the rise. By March 18, more than 2,500 people had the disease. The possibility of canceling the tournament is still left open, although this is a scenario that the team is keeping the top of the Liverpool table and the top 6 First Class clubs do not want.
