MU abandoned Sancho, learned Tottenham to borrow 135 million pounds of Barca’s blockbuster

With the latest moves, Dortmund officially blocked Jadon Sancho to MU. Therefore, the leadership of “Red Devils” is looking for a name that deserves to be replaced.

Coach Solskjaer still needs a class winger. That is the reason why MU has been pursuing Jadon Sancho closely in recent years. But recently, Borussia Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl once again confirmed that their star will not leave this summer.

Therefore, it is time for MU to temporarily withdraw to wait until next summer, and at the same time focus on time and money to replenish forces in other positions. This became even more pressing following their Premier League opening-day defeat.

According to the Daily Record, big boss Ed Woodward has moved to negotiate with Barcelona about Ousmane Dembele’s case.

The 23-year-old is considered the second most expensive deal in Barcelona history. Despite just recovering from a long-term injury, Dembele is not in the plan of new head coach Ronald Koeman, who is making a radical revolution at the Nou Camp.

The source said that MU did not dare to take risks and just wanted to bring the French player to Old Trafford under a season-long loan agreement.

In response to the British counterpart, Barcelona was ready to part with Dembele on a loan, but only when a compulsory purchase-out clause appeared in the agreement. It is known that the big La Liga wants to receive £ 90 million (98 million euros) from MU in this deal. In addition, the MU side also has to pay the entire salary for Dembele. This makes the negotiations appear to face certain difficulties.

This move is almost similar to the case of Gareth Bale from Real who just returned to Tottenham a few days ago. This is also a player with a history of injury and carries quite a high risk when playing. However, Real only needs Tottenham to pay half the salary and activate the optional terms for the London team to buy Bale at the end of the season.

Barcelona recruited Dembele from Dortmund for £ 135 million in 2017, to replace Neymar with PSG. Dembele’s on-field performance was not bad. However, his problem is chronic injuries, making the Nou Camp team impatient.

Meanwhile, MU lacks a factor that is capable of mutation in public goods. The defeat of Crystal Palace is a painful blow to the ambition to conquer the Premier League throne after many years of waiting. Therefore, “Red Devils” want to bring Dembele to Old Trafford to strengthen the race that promises fierce in this season.
